David's books

“Career Management” is a subject we all talk about but few people actually work at properly. Most of us believe when there are “credit crunches” and redundancies all around us, that we are just lucky to get any job. Yes it is difficult if you follow the same old ways that everyone tells you to.

The reality is that Career Management is simple – you need to answer three questions:

  • Who Am I?
  • Where Am I Going?
  • How Am I Going to Get There?

There are a multitude of books that cover the 2nd and 3rd questions. In my experience most people forget the first question – making it impossible to get a good answer to questions two and three!!!

My books are about how you figure out Who You Are when it comes to career. And once you’ve got a sense of that how do you develop your brand (that’s you!) to help it reach its full potential?
